Michael Cutting will be retiring from Linklaters on 30 April 2018 and joining the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) as an Ordinary Member from 1 October 2018.

Michael started his career at Linklaters in 1986 and became partner in 1995, specialising in EU and UK competition and utility law and practice with considerable experience of the application of competition law in the utility, leisure and transport sectors.

The United Kingdom Competition Appeal Tribunal is a specialist judicial body with cross-disciplinary expertise in law, economics, business and accountancy. Its function it to hear and decide cases involving competition of economic regulatory issues.
