Warwickshire law firm Brindley Twist Tafft & James (BTTJ) has hired litigation solicitor James Sawyer in its Coventry office.
Sawyer, who joins from a high street firm in Solihull, follows Manjit Kaur-Heer, who was recruited as senior litigation solicitor in October, and Martin Large, who joined as a litigation assistant in July.
Tom Barnes, head of the litigation department at BTTJ, said: 'James qualified as a solicitor in April 2025 and has already spent time specialising in civil litigation at his first firm.
'During his time as a trainee solicitor, James also spent time working in the property team and the wills and probate team, giving him a good understanding of a range of litigious property matters and contentious probate claims.'
BTTJ’s litigation services include: commercial contract disputes; disputes involving professional advisors, including negligence claims; property disputes, including landlord and tenant cases, and boundary issues; probate issues and challenges to wills.
The company also acts on: intellectual property claims; consumer contract disputes; company and commercial disputes; partnership issues; shareholder claims and disputes; and claims by directors, and against directors and other company office holders.
