Gowling WLG (UK) LLP has appointed Sarah Felger as its new chief operating officer (COO). 

Felger will lead operational strategy across the firm’s offices in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. She will also spearhead the firm’s continued evolution in technology and AI adoption.

Felger has held senior strategic and operational roles at CMS, Taylor Wessing, Irwin Mitchell and Womble Bond Dickinson. 

She is a trustee of the Aldridge Foundation, which helps young people, especially those from less advantaged backgrounds, develop the skills, confidence, and enterprising mindset they need to thrive in education, work and life.

Andrew Edginton, who previously held a combined COO/CFO role at Gowling WLG, will continue to lead the firm's finance and procurement teams and financial strategy as CFO across the UK, Europe and Middle East.
