Collyer Bristow is pleased to announce that Nigel Brahams has joined the firm as a partner in the corporate and commercial team. He joins from Fox Williams. His arrival at Collyer Bristow further strengthens the firm’s corporate offering and brings additional expertise in FinTech and non-contentious financial services.

In addition to experience working with a number of leading law firms, Nigel spent more than 20 years leading in-house teams at well-known commercial and investment banks and brokerage firms.

Nigel has particular expertise in FinTech and financial services regulatory and transactional matters encompassing MiFID II, the Senior Managers and Certification Regime and the regulatory aspects of cryptocurrency initial coin offerings. He also has a specific interest in the application of blockchain, bitcoin and AI technology in financial services and commodities markets.

Nigel also advises on broader corporate and commercial work including joint ventures, seed and series A fund raising rounds, as well as corporate acquisitions and disposals, with a particular focus on the technology and financial services sectors.
