Employment and regulatory specialist law firm Constantine Law has recruited senior partner Anita Vadgama to its employment team.

Vadgama, former head of litigation at didlaw, advises senior executives, including C-suite employees, on complex workplace disputes, FCA regulatory issues and high-value exits. Her practice focuses on discrimination, particularly disability and neurodiversity discrimination, as well as sex and race discrimination, harassment and whistleblowing claims.

She represented the appellant in the Court of Appeal in Kong v Gulf International Bank (UK) Limited and has secured significant tribunal victories, including a £2.5 million disability discrimination award in 2021, one of the highest awards of its kind.

Vadgama trained and worked at Thompsons for 10 years before spending seven years in the US as a dual-qualified English and Massachusetts attorney at Littler Mendelson.

She is an executive committee member of the Industrial Law Society and is involved with Protect, the whistleblowing charity.

John Hayes, managing partner at Constantine Law, said: '[Anita's] specialist knowledge in the world of discrimination and disability brings added depth to our growing employment team. She also complements our expertise in advising senior executives and bringing whistleblowing claims.'
