London law firm Joelson has hired Akash Sachdeva as partner within its litigation and dispute resolution practice.
Sachdeva has almost 20 years of intellectual property litigation experience, having regularly advised high-growth tech companies and household brand names on issues including patent litigation, trade secret arbitration, social media conduct, advertising disputes and digital reputation management.
Joelson litigation and dispute resolution partner Jo Gregory commented: 'We are thrilled to announce that Akash Sachdeva is joining our team as a partner. Following recent case wins, we are fortunate to be experiencing a period of tremendous growth, and we are growing the team to reflect that.
'Akash’s experience and expertise will be invaluable to both current and future clients.'
Sachdeva added: 'Joelson is a firm I have admired for a number of years and it is a privilege to have this opportunity to join them on the next chapter of their journey.
'As a business they have a true client-first approach, which is a principle I have always sought to live by throughout my career to date. With that in mind, this represents a natural next step for my career and I am excited to get started.'
Sachdeva is also qualified to practise as a solicitor in Hong Kong and has acted in ICC, AAA and LCIA arbitration disputes.
