Law firm Switalskis has appointed Jonathan Hyldon as head of commercial property in Lincolnshire.

Hyldon began his career as a licensing lawyer advising multinational PLCs in both the alcohol and gaming sectors. He has specialised in commercial property law for the past decade focusing on acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, refinancing, secured lending and property development.

He commented: 'This role presents a great opportunity to build on the firm’s existing commercial property strengths and to help further growth across the regions. The work is varied and can be extremely complex and challenging. No two transactions are the same and guiding clients through the legal process is incredibly rewarding.

'Like Switalskis, I pride myself on being approachable and have always sought to build strong, lasting relationships with clients whilst focusing on their business goals to obtain the best possible results for them. At the same time having close connections with professional contacts, including agents, banks and surveyors helps transactions run smoothly. This collaborative approach is key to delivering the best outcomes.'

Switalskis’ commercial property team advises regional and national clients, including developers, landlords and investors.

Based at the firm’s Grimsby office, Hyldon will lead the commercial property team’s activity across South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, working alongside the company’s nine-strong specialist team.
