Withers is hiring pensions specialist Estella Bogira as an associate in its London office. Estella will join the firm from Linklaters where she worked in the pensions team, advising pension scheme employers and trustee boards on pensions, trust and tax-related matters.

Withers’ pensions team is led by Gillian Johnson, and offers a wide range of services to both domestic and internationally mobile clients on their pension planning, as well as advising employers on their pension schemes and advising on the development of innovative pension products for wealth managers, IFAs and their clients.

Jeremy Arnold, global co-head of Withers Private Client and Tax division, comments: ‘The rules around pensions are notoriously complex and have been subject to numerous changes in recent years. Our pensions team is here to guide our clients through this important area to help them plan for their future and we are delighted to welcome a lawyer with Estella’s strengths to our pensions team. Her experience of a wide range of pension arrangements and pensions tax will be valuable to our clients and other professionals and, as a part of our wider private client team, Estella will also be expanding her skills more generally within the private client advisory sphere.’

Withers will hold its annual pensions seminar this autumn, with further details to be confirmed soon.
