Firm hires: Banking and finance partners join Memery Crystal

Memery Crystal has appointed Steve Clinning and Laura Brown as partners in its banking and finance team.

Clinning, who worked in various banks and financial institutions before becoming a solicitor, has over 20 years' experience. He advises borrowers and lenders on a range of transactions and has established long-term partnerships with several high-volume lending clients. He previously held senior leadership positions including head of banking and real estate finance at Howard Kennedy.

Brown has more than 11 years of experience working as a finance lawyer, specialising in real estate finance. She advises lenders on senior and mezzanine financing, covering commercial and residential property development and investment, refinancing and property portfolio financing transactions.

Clinning and Brown worked together in the banking and real estate finance team at Howard Kennedy for several years.
