Sarah Martin and Emma Truin have been appointed as family and personal injury partners at Barr Ellison Solicitors.

Sarah is a specialist in financial issues arising in relation to wealth protection and upon relationship breakdown and acts for high net worth individuals with extensive trusts, business and pension assets.

Emma leads the firm’s catastrophic brain, orthopaedic and spinal injury team. A trustee of Headway Cambridgeshire, Emma is recognised for her experience in representing clients affected by brain injury and her client care skills are acknowledged within Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.

’We are delighted to announce the promotion of Sarah and Emma to partner positions,’ states managing partner Robert Curry. ‘They have a wealth of experience and expertise within their respective sectors, and are well equipped for their new roles. With their strong professional client relationships and a positive can-do attitude, they are instrumental to our ongoing growth strategy.’

Continuing expansion at the Cambridge city firm has also resulted in two new solicitor appointments of Rosie Hill and George Carter to the commercial property and trusts & estates teams respectively in August. The latest recruits bring invaluable skill sets and their addition to Barr Ellison is part of the firm’s ongoing strategy to remain at the forefront of legal service providers in Cambridgeshire.

Senior partner, Elizabeth Deyong said: ’Barr Ellison has a rich history of delivering quality legal expertise in Cambridgeshire, while constantly evolving to meet the challenges posed by today’s changing marketplace. Rosie and George will help the firm meet the high expectations of its clients and will play a vital role in driving the firm forward.’
