Conduct committee - vacancies for non-council members
The council members' conduct committee was established by the Law Society Council in July 2002.
Its key tasks are to investigate and report to the council on all complaints made by any council member or the chief executive regarding the conduct of council members, and non-council members of boards, committees, sub-committees and working parties, other than those arising under the Society's dignity at work policy.
The committee consists of seven council members and up to three non-council members.
Applications are sought from persons who are interested in the work of the committee and who believe they have something of value to contribute.
The Society wishes to encourage applications from any persons, irrespective of gender, race, colour, age, sexual orientation or disability and appointments will be based on merit, following an open and clear selection process.
