Most foot-tapping deal: Blackman Van Emden, a niche firm in Harrow, Greater London, acted for the Monaco DanceSport Association on the negotiation and contracting of a two-year agreement for television coverage of the Monaco DanceSport Championships with television company TWI, which was advised in-house.

Coolest deal: Leicester firm Harvey Ingram Owston acted for WR Group Holdings on its acquisition for an undisclosed amount of Westward Refrigeration Services, the UK division of major German refrigeration company Linde, advised by City firm Taylor Joynson Garrett.

Most towering deal: City firm Maxwell Batley represented Hermes Property Unit Trust on its 11 million acquisition of a 10% stake in London Tower 42 - formerly the Nat West Tower.

Nabarro Nath-anson advised existing investor Merrill Lynch Investment Managers on the sale, while developer Greycoat was advised by Herbert Smith.

Tastiest deal: Rowe & Maw advised Unilever on the 8.3 million sale by subsidiary Bestfoods of its Napolina business - which makes an Italian-style range of premium tomato and olive oil products - to a joint venture company owned by Princes and AR Industrie Alimentari, advised by Ernst and Young's Italian lawyers.

North-west firm Davies Wallis Foyster acted for Napolina.

Speediest deal: Memery Crystal represented Wembley and its on-line greyhound racing subsidiary 24dogs on a global tote betting service called 24dogstote.

Bristol firm TLT advised e-tote, the company which provided the technology, while Allen & Overy advised bookmakers William Hill on a separate deal with 24dogs relating to a fixed-odds betting service.

Most sporty deal: Hammond Suddards Edge acted for Kingsbridge Holdings on its 13.3 million acquisition of sports management group Benson McGarvey, whose 6,000 clients include soccer stars Steven Gerrard and Dominic Matteo.

Freethcartwright advised Benson.Most spacious deal: Field Fisher Waterhouse acted for management consultancy Accenture - Andersen Consulting as was - on its taking of space released by former owner Arthur Andersen opposite the Old Bailey.

Arthur Andersen was advised by its associated law firm, Garretts.
