Mishcon de Reya advised Teather & Greenwood as nominated adviser on the admission of BrainJuicer Group to the Alternative Investment Market and a £1.5 million fundraising. BrainJuicer Group, which was advised by City firm Taylor Wessing, carries out research for multinationals.



Starriest deal: US/UK firm K & L Gates advised fund manager FF&P on a multi-million pound investment in Harvest Media, which provides voting services on ITV's 'Pop Idol' and 'X-Factor' shows. London firm Lawrence Graham advised Harvest.



Homeliest deal: City firm Travers Smith advised private equity firm Lyceum Capital and the management team of Clinovia Group on the sale of the home healthcare provider to BUPA for £88 million. Birmingham firm Wragge & Co acted for the purchaser.



Most natural deal: The Cambridge office of Hewitsons advised wildlife charity the RSPB on the purchase of its 200th nature reserve, situated at Sutton Fen in the Norfolk Broads, for an undisclosed sum. Norfolk firm Capron & Helliwell advised the vendor, Stalham Farms.



Most designer deal: Southampton and Reading firm Lamport Bassitt advised Scala Collections, which sells Italian-designed clothes and trades as Artigiano, on a £28 million buyout. City firm Travers Smith advised investor Barclays Private Equity; regional firm Shoosmiths acted for Scala Collections' management.



Most colourful deal: Lawrence Graham acted for Healthcare Locums on its acquisition of Blue Group International, one of the UK's largest agencies for qualified social workers, for £14 million. London firm Olswang advised Blue Group.



Most sporting deal: City firm Herbert Smith advised BSkyB on its £103 million offer for 365 Media, the betting and sports- news websites operator, which was advised by City firm SJ Berwin.



Most talkative deal: City firm Trowers & Hamlins advised Cable & Wireless on its disposal of a 20% stake in Bahrain Telecommunications to a consortium of buyers for $506 million (£262 million). The deal was the largest-ever share transaction involving a Bahraini-listed company. City firm Norton Rose acted for the government of Bahrain, which was a key member of the consortium.



Most networked deal: City firm Berwin Leighton Paisner advised Technicolor Network Services on a long-term contract to handle ITV's broadcast and transmission operations for all its existing channels. UK/US firm DLA Piper advised ITV.



Most active deal: Olswang and an in-house legal team advised global clothing and footwear business Timberland on its acquisition of UK-based Howies, the outdoor-clothing provider, for an undisclosed sum. Howies' founders and shareholders were advised by regional firm Morgan Cole.
