You wouldn't see Tessa Jowell doing this, we fancy, but Brazil's minister of culture last week entertained a bunch of lawyers and others with what we're told was a 'mesmerising and intimate three-song set' to mark the UK launch of OndAzul Foundation, a non-governmental organisation he set up to help protect the Brazilian environment.
Grammy-winning musician Gilberto Gil, now also a politician, was performing at the art gallery run by London law firm Collyer-Bristow, which hosted the launch and has been involved in setting up the foundation in the UK.
Mr Gil closed his set with a supposedly unforgettable version of Bob Marley's 'Three Little Birds', and a source at the firm reveals, shockingly, that 'more than a few lawyers chilled out enough to sing along to that'.
