Hymn of glorious settlement
It was child's play for City firm Simmons & Simmons lawyers Jeremy Morton (left) and Richard Wallis to settle the claim brought by their clients Humbrol, makers of an educational toy called the Anatomy Set, against controversial artist Damien Hirst.
Mr Hirst's 20-foot tall sculpture, 'Hymn', was said to bear more than a passing resemblance to the toy.
He is now making a goodwill payment to Norman Emms, the model's designer, while Humbrol is waiving any royalty claims in favour of payments to charities Children Nationwide (represented above by Cathy Cole) and The Toy Trust, together with agreed restrictions on future reproduction.
K Meredith McCaw acted for Mr Emms and Sheridans for Mr Hirst.
