I know what I like

When you look at the sculpture above, does it say to you 'the power and rhythm of repeated movements in precision engineering processes'? If so, you know more about art than Obiter, who believed the impressive addition to the Greenwoods Sculpture 2000 collection (sponsored by the eponymous Peterborough firm) to be the detritus of a giant silver pencil sharpener.

Either way, it will certainly catch the attention of those taking on the Peterborough Millennium Green Wheel, a 50-mile cycle route being built around the city and littered with various bits of law firm-sponsored art.

This sculpture, the largest of the lot, has been erected close to the Perkins Engines factory, hence the obtuse engineering theme.
