Litigation and white collar crime specialist firm Rahman Ravelli Solicitors has appointed administrators and is in the process of closing down.

The firm announced on its website that Andrew Hosking and Jamie Taylor of BTG Advisory have been appointed as joint administrators.
Clients of the West Yorkshire and London firm will be contacted by dedicated case handlers seeking instructions about who they want to represent them in future.
The website notice stated that all client monies securely held in the client account are not affected by the administration.
The joint administrators have appointed Samantha Palmer of Child & Child Law Limited as the solicitor manager. She will be arranging for client monies to be securely transferred to new SRA regulated firms in accordance with clients’ instructions.
Rahman Ravelli has built a reputation on its international business crime work and cross-border litigation. According to its accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024, the firm employed an average 25 people over the previous 12 months,
As of the end of 2024, it had net assets of more than £1.75m and around £343,000 cash reserves. The financial statement also records that one of the directors owed the company £310,931: this loan was unsecured and repayable upon demand. The firm’s accounts for 2025 were due by the end of last month but are overdue.
Companies House records show that director Syedur Rahman resigned from the board in August. He posted on Linkedin yesterday that he was joining fee-sharing firm Keystone Law.
Rahman wrote: ‘Rahman Ravelli has been a huge part of my life, both professionally and personally. I will always be grateful for the opportunities I was given, the people I worked alongside and everything I learnt along the way. I leave with lasting friendships, fond memories of what we achieved together and a genuine appreciation for the people who made that journey so special.’
Meanwhile, City firm Riverside Legal Services Limited, trading as MSR Solicitors, has also appointed an administrator and is in the process of closing. The administrator is from insolvency firm Sanderlings LLP.
It is understood that both Rahman Ravelli and MSR Solicitors have kept the SRA informed about what is happening. The regulator is aware of the situations and is liaising with the firms as they effect an orderly closure.
