The Ministry of Justice has pledged £500,000 to help male victims of rape and sexual violence receive advice and counselling over the next year.
The fund will be open to bids from support organisations who can offer help specifically for male victims.
City firm has already pledged support and says profession has a duty to ensure equality before the law.
