She is leaving Rowe & Maw to become a partner in the public sector law group.Sinclair Roche & Temperley has snapped up shipping and energy specialist Russell Ridley and trade finance expert Robert Parson from Middleton Potts - taking its total partners to 36.Abroad, SJ Berwin has recruited three German partners in Munich.

Mergers and acquisitions specialists Thomas Pauls and Axel Pajunk join from Haarmann Hemmelrath & Partner, while EU lawyer Alexander Rinne moves from Bender Zahn Tigges.Staying on the continent, Giuseppe Menegazzi is moving from Rossotto & Associates to the Italian practice of Simmons & Simmons as a partner, with his employment team.Surrey-based Shadbolt & Co has 26 partners after four appointments.

Michelle Baldock (property) joins from Brighton firm DMH, Caroline Abrey (corporate/commercial) leaves Stevens Drake, while Kate Matthews (commercial litigation) and Tim Ball (corporate/commercial) are promoted.

In the south-west, Bevan Ashford has promoted Duncan Weir (construction) and David Hunter (PFI) in its Bristol office, and Stephen Homer moves up to partner in its Exeter office (construction).

There are 49 partners at Nottingham-based Browne Jacobsen, with the promotion of 0livier Morel in the firm's business services team in London.Housing litigation specialist Helen Tucker and licensing lawyer Deborah Shaw have been promoted at Birmingham firm Anthony Collins, which now has 17 partners.Fellow Birmingham firm The Wilkes Partnership has promoted insolvency lawyer John Cooper to partner.
