Berrymans Lace Mawer kicks things off with eight new partners, taking it to 79 nationally: in Manchester, Richard Cliff, Mike Dobson, Gary Lewis, Vicky McCarthy and Abigail Whittle (personal injury); in London, Tim Smith (professional indemnity) and Martin Watson (marine), and in Liverpool, Sarah Mansfield (housing and environment).
City firm CMS Cameron McKenna has 143 partners after promoting six: Jason Harding (banking and international finance), Simon Johnston (project finance), Eleanor Layton (energy, projects and construction), Simon Pilcher (pensions) and Sally Badham (real estate).
Hilary McDowell (real estate) is promoted in the Prague office.
Royds RDW has reached 20 partners after making up Gemma Webb (employment) and Ruth Abrams (family) in its City office, and Frank Davey (property) in Morden, Surrey.
