Lawyers need to take time to explain what they do in more detail to their clients and provide better levels of service generally, if the slide of the legal profession's status in the eyes of the public is ever to be halted, an attorney from Grand Rapids in Michigan told delegates. 'A little more time spent on teaching and explaining to clients would go a long way,' said Mr McCallum.
