The Law Society will tell the Brazilian legal sector today that Britain is the place to turn to for international dispute resolution, as it leads a contingent of UK law firms to São Paulo.

President Lucy Scott-Moncrieff, whose visit coincides with the Lord Mayor’s trip to Brazil, will promote the Unlocking Disputes campaign to Brazilian lawyers and businesses.

Last month, the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (OAB) signed an agreement with the Society to strength ties between the two bodies. UK firms joining the Society in São Paulo include CMS, Lawrence Graham, Wragge & Co and Fletcher Day.
