January is a time for the legal profession’s sailors to check if their oilskins still fit them ahead of a busy 2026 season for the Law Society Yacht Club. Planned events this year include a cross-channel sail, a cruise in the Hebrides – and competing again in the classic Round the Island race in July. Several berths are still available: no qualifications (apart from a sense of humour) are required.
The club’s annual general meeting will take place online on 27 January.
