International firm DAC Beachcroft is looking to cut jobs in property teams, citing ‘challenging economic conditions’. A total of 10 jobs are at risk: six in the Leeds real estate team and four in the London commercial investment and development team.

In a statement the firm said: 'We are constantly reviewing how we can deliver the best possible solutions and services for our clients. Changes in our clients’ needs, paired with the ongoing challenging economic conditions, have had an impact on work flows across some areas. As a result, we have been looking closely at resourcing.

'We continue to work hard to win new clients and take on further work from our existing clients, and going forward we will be well positioned to meet all our clients’ needs.

'We are doing everything we can to help those individuals who are affected to find new positions within our firm.’

In its last set of financial results, for the year ending 30 April 2019, DAC Beachcroft reported pre-tax profits up by 10% to £52m on turnover up 6% to £243m.
