I hope they enforce the costs order as these dishonest claimants need to be taught a lesson. However it will be interesting for all the defendant law firms to publish articles on the number of cases they have lost when they allege fundamental dishonesty. Many times , they put a lot of claimants under severe and unjustified pressure by accusing them of been dishonest when it is a perfectly valid claim. They latch on to simple mistakes and state the whole claim is dishonest just to save money .Often they have hardly any concrete evidence of fraud but still run these cases to trial , knowing they will not be penalised on costs should they lose. It is about time some claimants sue for defamation as often the defences are signed by the solicitors on behalf of their clients.
