to Michael Martin: I would appreciate a brief outline of what you think (or know) are the moral standards of atheists and secular fundamentalists.

When I have asked such folk in the past, I have been left confused as they seem either to copy/imitate Christian standards or seem free to choose their own, seemingly "anything goes" approach.

Surely it is helpful for any society to have some basic common "givens", for the benefit of all and so everyone knows what is expected (eg we drive on the left-hand side of the road, taking something that belongs to someone else is wrong)?.

In our country, the vast majority accept the need for this approach, and guess what most of those "givens" are based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
