This is a truly great idea. The graduate gets the 'hands on' experience he/she needs to help him/her qualify as a solicitor or Barrister.........at which point the unpaid work experience dries up, because the LIP's will no longer 'employ' the qualified lawyer as fees will be involved, because now he has to pay insurance and can no longer live on a student grant/loan. But at least he/she is now qualified, but for what. Perhaps 'over qualified' and 'out of work' would be the better description.
Last one out, please turn off the light.
