Even if Anon at 14.49 has a point, is it really a proportionate response to legislate to take away a cause of action for a specific injury and to effectively block access to justice for every lower value claim.

Will not the mischief he refers to simply be replaced by an evil that benefits only the bankers and insurers at the expense of the low paid and vulnerable.
