I think that it's difficult to assess whether this sort of egalitarian 'nudging ' exercise might be helpful without some context. For example, the appointment of partners seems in the past to have been undertaken by the partnership board without any formal advisory panel. This seems common enough, but what was the gender composition of the board?
Also, how were these decisions made? Was it on billing alone, or other factors? If so, then how did the billing figures divide between the genders?
It's a can of worms but all credit to them for trying to open it up.
