I was taught always to be polite to judges. However, over the years a lot of them have become increasingly rude, bad tempered and frankly a disgrace. If lawyers are to respect judges then some of them ought to learn that respect is earned. They are professionals and should act accordingly. They are not spoilt little children spitting out their dummies. The public should expect, and receive, better than this. After all the tax payer is forking out for this service.
