Well said. I am a huge fan of equality and trans rights.
However just a small detail - there is an impact on women if statistics such as violence against women include transwomen as perpetrator and the many of us women who have suffered male sex pests for decades (yes even we senior female lawyers have this year in year out sadly) are not that keen to share changing rooms and lavatories with male to female transpeople for obvious reasons particularly if they have just self declared. By all means have a gender neutral one for anyone who wants to choose it but it is quite nice to keep solely female spaces. Gender neutral dressing rooms in shops is not a "positive thing" for many of us. It is a right old nightmare.
