How many clients who want 'frequent communication' with their solicitors - by which I mean contact every few days, even if it is only to say that, as was expected, nothing has happened since the last contact - are willing to pay for the level of communication that they want and consider to be necessary? Very few, I dare say. Sadly we seem to live in a society that wants everything and to pay for nothing (or, at least, wants someone else to pay for it).
