The online court will mean no physical post to the court office and users carrying out the issuing process, not court staff. Some variants already in public beta where the litigant is represented (not for debt) have the user serve the proceedings, obviating the need for court staff to undertake that task. The whole process is aimed at reducing the paper in the system, reducing the staff to handle the paper and the space needed to store it.
Using paperless systems eliminates paperwork delays at the court and possibly has shaved some time off the case life cycle.
