Barry Turner, You must have had advanced notice of the latest Criminal Justice Bill. I hear that they are considering new offences of 'being a bit weird', 'looking shifty' and 'being a bit dodgy'. As the new offence doesn't fall within the purview of either the Magistrates' or The Crown Court, they've even set up a new Court system to deal with it. They're calling it 'trial by media', based on very old legal principles, whereby they throw the accused into a lake. If he or she floats then they are guilty and face a lifetime of social media persecution and if they sink and drown (or have a breakdown or commit suicide) they are clearly innocent.
