I agree with the judgment.

No blame divorce was enacted, never brought into force and later repealed. Pity.

The problem here is that the W (rightly) tried to deal with the issue by minimising her allegations and their duration (maybe the duration was limited) and after his response didn't throw the book at him. Bad tactic.

Given her then extra matrimonial position, this seems to have added to her problems as I have the impression that the judge wasn't sold on her evidence and it opened up a line of xx'n. The lack - by direction (why) - of corroboration didn't help either.. Maybe there was none or none prepared to take sides.

Given that neither side wanted a replay it may be that there has been an outbreak of common sense and a two year decree is on offer - he as petitioner with an agreed financial order. His honour is satisfied by the judgments.
