Another offensive aspect of this matter is that, had it won the case, the SRA would not have hesitated to state the level of its costs and ask for an order that Leigh Day pay those costs in full.

That being so, losing the case does not amount to a good reason for refusing to disclose the level of the relevant costs. Indeed, there is nothing in this article to suggest that Mr Philip put forward any good reason for that refusal.
