If you can afford to pay someone for legal advice, why should this not be a trained and regulated person as opposed to some chancer? In that position, what purpose does it serve to be able to have an unregulated and unqualified person acting, often for a vulnerable client? There is no advantage to this. Clients needs to be adequately protected from these people who would take advantage of them in matters of fundamental importance.
