This is just awful. The Innocent Respondent needs a lot longer than six months. One minute happy in their marriage the next they are being replaced by another model. How on earth are they supposed to get their finances sorted when they might be having a nervous breakdown or trying to console their poor children. Meanwhile the Petitioner moves on, gets a divorce and remarries. The Respondent is trying to pick themselves and their kids up off the floor having just lost the financial support that goes with a marriage. And all because we don’t want to blame each other. Well right now if there is no blame you wait two years or five. Enough time for the Respondent to rebuild their life and that of their children. Don’t children or innocent Respondents matter in society anymore? I’m just appalled.
