For 25 years, Credo Care Fostering Ltd has supported disabled children with complex medical needs, giving them safe, loving homes and dramatically improving their quality of life. The carers who open their doors to these children often face huge personal costs. Essential home adaptations—wet rooms, hoists, specialist beds, wheelchair‑accessible spaces—are expensive, and Government Disabled Facilities Grants rarely cover everything. Many carers, especially respite carers, are left to fund thousands of pounds themselves.
The Credo Care Foundation was created to bridge this gap.
Our mission is simple: to ensure every disabled child, young person or adult can live in a home that meets their needs and lets them flourish. We provide grants covering up to 50% of vital home adaptations, or funding specialist equipment, easing the financial strain on carers and improving the lives of their charges.
An independent Assessment Board reviews all applications, ensuring fairness, compassion and public benefit. We charge no fees, operate non‑discriminatory policies, and aim to reach as many families as possible across England and Wales.
