International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has strengthened its banking and finance practice with the addition of partner Rahul Sagar.
Sagar specialises in advising banks, asset managers, alternative credit providers and hedge funds on complex real estate and structured credit transactions, including debt and equity investments across core, value-add and opportunistic strategies, often in cross-border contexts involving UK, European and US stakeholders.
He joins from US firm Morrison & Foerster, where he was Of Counsel.
Helen Fysh, head of banking and finance at Trowers & Hamlins, commented: 'We are delighted to welcome Rahul, whose real estate finance experience aligns perfectly with our strategy to grow our Banking and Finance practice and provide clients with expert guidance on complex property investments. As we continue to work towards our 2030 vision, Rahul brings a strong track record advising on multi-disciplinary cross-border transactions, and his experience will further strengthen our offering to clients.'
Sagar added: 'I am excited to join Trowers & Hamlins at a time when private capital is playing an increasingly central role in real estate. The firm’s platform provides a strong foundation to support clients on complex, structured and cross-border transactions across the full investment lifecycle.'
