Serious injury business CFG Law has promoted Siobhan Thacker to partner, Emma Greenhalgh to senior associate, and Daniel Robinson, Sarah Williams, and Wayne McMurdock to associates.

Thacker joined CFG Law in April last year as one of the new team in Bury St Edmunds. She has become partner in the specialist serious injury legal business, which also has offices in Cheadle and Manchester.

Office services manager Greenhalgh, promoted to senior associate, is the firm’s longest-serving team member having been with the business for 27 years.

Solicitors Daniel Robinson and Sarah Williams, and business improvement lead Wayne McMurdock, all started their careers with CFG law.

CEO Richard Clark said: 'It’s always a great feeling to promote people for their part in our success but this year’s news shows that we can reward people whether they have been with us all their careers or for just a few months.

'Emma may have clocked up 27 years here but she still plays a major role every day in making sure our business delivers on our purpose of helping all those affected by injury – together.

'It’s also brilliant to see all three of Sarah, Dan and Wayne continue to develop their careers, having started their working lives at CFG. They’ve got so much to contribute to our future as well and I can’t wait to see what they can achieve.

'Meanwhile, Shiv may only have been with our business for a year but she’s had a huge impact on the work we do for our clients and on our business as a whole. She deserves to be a Partner in our business and also has a major part to play in our future success.'
