Items submitted for the Gazette’s Movers page this week include celebrations of long-serving employees and firm returners. 

Appointed Browne Jacobson’s first female partner in 1989, Caroline Green has now been elected the firm’s first female senior partner. Green has been at the firm for over 30 years. 

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s London office sees the return of mergers and acquisition specialist Piusha Bose after she left the firm in 2010. Bose started at Freshfields as a trainee and went on to work for the firm’s corporate practice in London and New York. She re-joins as counsel and co-head of Freshfield’s India group.

And in Watford, solicitor and former Army Reserve captain David Marsden has celebrated his 40th anniversary at the same business. Starting out at Matthew Arnold Baldwin at 22 years old, Marsden saw the firm join forces with VWV in 2016 where he now works for the commercial property team.
