Three more Garretts refugees have found new homes: investment funds expert Simon Atiyah has joined City firm Lovells with a team of four associates - Ben Wrench, Oliver Godwin, Andrew Walters and Erik Jamieson; Lawrence Graham has snapped up company/commercial partner Lance Feaver; and the head of non-contentious financial services, James Greig, and associate Duncan Milne have moved to the London office of US firm Wilmer Cutler & Pickering.

Fellow US firm LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae has strengthened its London office's energy and project finance group by signing up Keith Hughes from Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker.

He is joined by the rest of his energy team, associates Nicholas Allton and Ben Donovan.

Alex Read has moved across London, joining Memery Crystal as a corporate finance partner from US/UK firm Decherts.

City firm Holman Fenwick & Willan has scooped up commercial litigator and solicitor-advocate Rory Gogarty as a partner from Herbert Smith.

It is all go in the home counties: Newbury firm Gardner Leader has made up litigator Christopher Felton, Gerrards Cross practice BP Collins has promoted litigator Matthew Brandis as its 17th partner, and Bedford firm Sharman & Trethewy has seven partners after making up family lawyer Nicholas Rees.

Liverpool property practice Murphy Hodgkinson - which works in association with Mace & Jones - has two partners following the arrival of Vincent Fairclough from Hill Dickinson.

Property lawyer Andrea Gibbons has been made up at Bolton firm Fieldings Porter.Colin McGlue, head of litigation at Lancashire firm Coupe Bradbury, has become the firm's third partner.

City giant Allen & Overy has two new partners in its New York office after real estate lawyer Kevin O'Shea and anti-trust specialist Michael Jahnke joined from US firms Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker and Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz respectively.

Ashurst Morris Crisp has appointed Dr Rainer Eichholz as a partner in its Frankfurt finance practice.

He joins from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he was managing director in the global debt division.

Midlands firm Gateley Wareing has promoted three assistants to associates: Michael Cummins (employment) in Leicester, Gavin White (corporate services) in Nottingham, and Philip Parkinson (commercial property) in Birmingham.
