Aderant has launched a client relationship management system designed specifically for professional services organisations. Aderant Front Office CRM unifies core front and back-office applications, allowing professionals to access instantaneously all aspects of client relationship, matter and billing information. The system speeds up information retrieval and provides single-source access.

Eclipse has unveiled enhancements to its ProCLAIM case management software system. These include a conveyancing quote calculator, enabling visitors to the firm's Web site to access on-line quotes, and automatic case opening via the Web, which gives the firm the ability to open new case files from instructions accepted on-line. Eclipse ProCLAIM also has an SMS texting tool, enabling firms to send SMS text messages to clients' mobile phones at any given point within the case or at pre-determined stages of case progress.


Axxia Systems has unveiled two additions to its management information and reporting tools. Vision Lite and Vision Lite+ are streamlined versions of the Axxia Vision business intelligence application for the legal market. Equifax has launched Anti-Money Laundering (AML) On-line, a service offering access to information on more than 1.6 million UK companies and their directors. AML On-Line allows businesses to validate instantly the identity of a company and its directors by providing proof of existence checks, proof of identity checks and alert notifications.


Thomson Elite has released Elite Practice Manager, a practitioner-focused application for large law firms. The application provides matter-centric functionality on a Web interface, organising all information relating to a single matter in one place. Practice Manager allows users to manage all aspects of their cases from a single browser interface that consolidates information about events, people, documents and finances.


Tricostar has launched its Tricostar Legal solution, a time and work-recording system developed from the Sage CRM mid-market edition. Designed as a matter management tool, it combines time and work recording with document management and flexible workflow tools. The service can be accessed anywhere with Internet availability.


Crescendo has launched its back-end speech recognition solution, Crescendo Speech Processing, in the UK legal market. Powered by SpeechMagic from Philips, the system includes a specialised recognition vocabulary for general law and property law. This allows an optimal recognition rate and helps firms increase the productivity of secretarial staff.
