Revenue on track with Solcase
The Solicitor's Office at the Inland Revenue has computerised its systems and installed SolCase, Solicitec's award-winning case management system. The Revenue has acquired a 200-user system which, to date, has been rolled out to the enforcement, personal injury, employment and advisory sections.
The implementation was carried out with close collaboration between the Solicitor's Office, Solicitec and EDS, the Revenue's strategic IT partner.Within the enforcement section, SolCase automates the production and completion of enforcement documents, and monitors the progress of each case, including the production of daily to-do lists.
Unfortunately for taxpayers perhaps, the automated processes may mean nothing slips through the net.Jill Wigney, development manager at the Solicitor's Office, said the Revenue now has quicker, more immediate access to accurate statistics and management information on performance and caseloads.
