The Law Society has teamed up with investment platform Seedrs to connect members with lawtech startups looking for funding.

Christina Blacklaws, vice president, announced the agreement at last week’s Legal Geek event in London.

‘Harnessing technology effectively can have a significant impact on how solicitors operate and engage with their clients,’ Blacklaws said.

‘This partnership will help us bring solicitors and entrepreneurs together to support innovations which will benefit our members and their clients. We are excited about the opportunities this will create as our members develop and grow their businesses.’
