It has been a long time coming, but lawyers finally got the chance to be lauded in person at one of the first live awards ceremonies since the pandemic.

Surrey Law Society’s annual awards were held in Guildford earlier this month, with around 200 people in attendance to enjoy a three-course meal and post-dinner chat with special guest Robert Rinder.

The biggest winner of the night was Holly Chantler, from Morrisons Solicitors, who scooped both private client solicitor of the year and the prize of lawyer of the year. Rosewood Solicitors was named as firm of the year, with Martin Whitehorn of Julie West Solicitors handed the rising star award.
