‘If you’ve got something to say, you’re already a podcaster – you just don’t know it yet.’ So runs one (very irritating) advertisement for a podcast platform that shall remain nameless here.

Lawyers, of course, are renowned for having something to say. So we should not be surprised that they are clambering on to what is an accelerating bandwagon. ‘Coming soon! Rooney v Vardy: The Breakdown’, announces a breathless tweet from Brabners. ‘This podcast series will take you behind the scenes of the infamous “Wagatha Christie” trial with our lawyers Paul Lunt and Jamie Hurworth, who represented Coleen Rooney throughout the case brought against her by Rebekah Vardy.’ The pair, tooled up with proper and expensive-looking headphones and mikes, promise to answer all your ‘burning questions’. We are also promised ‘special guests’. Coleen? Wayne? Both? Can’t wait.
