Yesterday afternoon's rain didn’t dampen spirits as thousands walked to raise funds for justice in the law’s biggest annual fundraising event, the London Legal Walk.
The 10km walk is the lead fundraising event for the London Legal Support Trust (LLST), which was held in person for the first time since 2019.
Law firms, chambers, legal advice agencies, law schools, in-house legal teams and the judiciary all took part, with lead walkers including Law Society president I. Stephanie Boyce, Bar Council chair Derek Sweeting QC, Master of the Rolls Sir Geoffrey Vos, and the Lord Chief Justice, Lord Burnett.
Walkers set off from Carey Street and had the choice of three routes, before joining the street party at the finish line.
LLST supports charities that provide ‘life changing legal advice and representation to those in need’ in London and the southeast.
