From Monday 12 October, solicitors and barristers will take part in Breast Cancer Now’s annual week-long charity cycle race, Tour de Law, raising funds for Breast Cancer Now’s research and life-changing care.

Law firms and chambers can enter team(s) of up to 10 participants, taking part on road bikes, static bikes at home or in the gym, or even on Santander Cycles. Breast Cancer Now is able to arrange static bikes in the office, for those who want them.

Since its inception in 2012, Tour de Law has raised over £600,000 for the charity, with a total of 136 teams taking part. This year, legal teams will come together to cycle the furthest between 12 and 18 October, raise the most and be crowned Tour de Law Champion 2020. In order to adapt and innovate during the pandemic, participants will track their distance through Strava, linked to their team’s JustGiving page, which tracks and automatically updates both the distance and fundraising.
